Meaningful Panel from New Generation Entrepreneurship and Innovation Application and Research Center “From Idea to Value: Entrepreneurship Innovation


The "From Idea to Value: Entrepreneurship and Innovation" panel, organized by the New Generation Entrepreneurship and Innovation Application and Research Center, addressed university-industry collaboration, entrepreneur support mechanisms, and the transformation of innovation into tangible value through systematic structures.


Organized by the New Generation Entrepreneurship and Innovation Application and Research Center as part of Innovation Week, the “From Idea to Value: Entrepreneurship and Innovation” panel brought together academia, the public sector, and the entrepreneurship ecosystem. The event, which saw high participation, addressed the transformation of ideas into tangible value through systematic approaches.

Opening Remarks
The panel began with an opening speech by Prof. Dr. Tarık Çakar, delivered as part of Innovation Week. In his speech, Prof. Dr. Çakar emphasized the importance of university-industry collaboration, innovative thinking systems, and a sustainable entrepreneurial culture. Following this, Hande Ceylan Dayan, the Director of the Technology and Innovation Center at Istanbul Gelişim University, gave a presentation on supporting technology-based startups, mentoring processes, and ecosystem collaborations.

Entrepreneurship Support and Systematic Transformation
As part of the program, Duygu Yücesoy Manyaslı, the KOSGEB Istanbul İkitelli Manager, gave a comprehensive presentation on the Entrepreneur Support Program. The presentation detailed the grant and support mechanisms provided to entrepreneurs, application processes, and evaluation criteria. Another speaker at the panel, Dr. Elif Güngör Reis, in her presentation titled “From Idea to Tangible Value: Transformation with Strong Systems and Structures” emphasized that innovation is not just about generating creative ideas, but that strong systems, process management, and strategic structures play a decisive role in this journey.

Participants and Interactive Session
At the end of the effective panel, a question-and-answer session allowed participants to directly ask experts questions about topics they were curious about. The program concluded with the presentation of plaques to the speakers. Participants once again emphasized the importance of strong collaborations and sustainable value creation in the fields of entrepreneurship and innovation.
